Sponsoring the Cocoon GetTogether

The Cocoon GT2003 will be an excellent opportunity for companies interested in supporting Open Source while getting visibility for their products and services.

The first edition of the Cocoon GetTogether brought close to 100 people to the wonderful town of Ghent. We expect this number to more than double this year, to roughly 200 attendees, all interested in Cocoon related development and Open Source in general.

The sponsor investment will not be limited to the event itself. The GetTogether site will permanently host all the event related information, including all the session material. This will guarantee even further visibility to our sponsors, since their logo will always be visible on the main event page.

Sponsoring opportunities

We offer a wide range of sponsoring opportunities, and we have made every effort to ensure a considerable return on investment by keeping the sponsoring fees very low. All the prices below do not include VAT.

Basic sponsorship

The basic sponsorship will allow sponsors to have their logo displayed on the GT main page and printed on the official programme. Sponsors logos will also be projected on the main hall screen when no slides are present.

Sponsors will also be allowed to send us printed matter and/or gadgets that will be distributed to participants as part of the "welcome pack".

The cost of the basic sponsorship is 200 EUR and includes 1 free pass to the GetTogether.

Booth presence

The event location will have a small expo area with four booths available. Booth sponsors will be allocated a booth during the event day where they might showcase their products and services. In addition to that, sponsors will get all the "Basic sponsorship" services.

The cost of the booth presence is 600 EUR and includes 2 free passes to the GetTogether.

Breaks

During the event, three coffee breaks will be served (morning welcome coffee, mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks). Each one of these is available for sponsorship: in addition to the "Basic sponsorship" services, sponsors will be mentioned in the programme as explicitly offering the breaks. Throughout each break, signs will be posted stating that the break is offered by the sponsor, together with the sponsor's logo.

This sponsorship opportunity is available for the price of 800 EUR and includes 2 free passes to the GetTogether. Early birds willing to sponsor all the breaks will get a special rate of 2.000 EUR.

Evening events

Attendees are invited to participate with evening events organized on the night of October 6th and 7th, basically consisting of a dinner in a typical Ghent restaurant, followed by a pub crawl. Should you wish to sponsor these evening events, please get in touch with gt2003@orixo.com.
